Day 40 - Fun With Lenses
This is possibly the most horrifying picture I've ever taken. I can't stop laughing.
For the record, I love lenses.
I know I'm way behind on my photo-a-day marathon, however, fall term has proven to be rather painful thus far.

Day 37 - Viewfinder
My Kodak Bantam is probably my favourite camera in my collection right now. I love the pop-up viewfinder.

Day 35 - The Self-Indulgent Self-Portrait
Is there any other kind of self-portrait but the self-indulgent kind?

Day 34 - Kodak Bantam Lens
I had a particularly tough time taking this shot, as I wanted to use the blue, natural light coming through my window. However, the pale light meant I had to take the picture in the windowsill, with the subject facing more or less the wrong way. This also meant I could not use a tripod.
I set the ISO to 1600, braced myself against the windowsill as best as I could, held my breath, and hit the shutter.
I'm not too happy with the composition, and I'm having a hard time getting a satisfying crop of it, but I'm still glad I was able to shoot it, as is.

Day 31 - Flammable
Inner voice 1: Hey, Armand, your photo for the day...
Inner voice 2: What about it?
Inner voice 1: You haven't taken one today...
Inner voice 2: It's ok, I've got time...
Inner voice 1: It's "tomorrow" already
Inner voice 2: Crap.

Addendum--
It has been a month now since I've started this little experiment. While at times it had a chore-like quality to it, and I have already fallen behind several times, having to play catch-up or having to post ahead, I feel as though my sense of composition in my photos, and my ability to find something interesting in everything I see, is growing. For that, if nothing else, I am very glad I've set this goal for myself.
